Milton, is SUCH a mission to get to.
It all started yesterday.. it was all planned. From square one, GO bus to Milton and get picked up from the station. simple enough.
So we get to the station, and we try to buy our tickets and apparently we cant go DIRECTLY to Milton, we had to go to Meadowvale first, AND THEN we take another bus that goes to Milton. muhlik. That's not that bad part though, thing is, clouds started forming, one side of Mississauga was nice and bright, but as we get closer to Meadowvale, it's like we were in a whole other world. The clouds were dark, and they looked really heavy. Finally, it started raining, and by raining I mean pouring, and by pouring.. I mean like a shower. PLUS, I needed to pee really bad. But it was cool, we chilled at the stop, til the bus came.. then arrived at Milton, and got picked up.
Raymond's house is effin big. It's real nice too. especially the kitchen, where all the food are. I finally got to have some of the oatmeal cookies that they made for Ray, it was really good. The night was filled with brawl, food and left 4 dead. not that I played any of those games myself, because really.. I suck. So there really was no point in me playing. Then we watched POWER RANGERS ! I havent seen that movie for years, and it made me realize how much people really change from when they were a child til now. Everyone was making fun of the movie and pointing out really "corny" lines and whatever, but when we were kids, we ALL thought it was cool Im sure.
Growing up, I never understood why they switched the black and the yellow ranger, and all the other stuff "behind" the shows that I watched, I was in my own little world, where I pretend to morph and fight oozes. I never moticed how most of the rangers were white, and that they only put the asian and black rangers there so they wouldnt be called "racist". From where I grew up I barely even heard the word racist.
I find it fascinating to see people watch their "old time" favourites, because that is how you can really tell if something was timeless. For example, my all time favourite Disney movie is Beauty & the Beast and Cinderella. Up until now it has not changed, they're still my favourite rendering those two classics: timeless;
On with the day, they played more left 4 dead after, and finally watched YES man, with Jim Carrey, and because he is in the movie, of course it was funny. The actual plot was very predictable though. The whole movie is basically a commentary on the "middle way" and being at the very extreme isnt good. Saying YES to everything isn't good, and saying NO to everything isnt good, so you have to be able to use your common sense to be able to tell which cases to say yes and which cases to say no, the whole movie summed in a sentence and a half. Overall, it was an okay movie.
Many homo moments, three guys, sharing a blanket. VERY funny sight, and well it all really came from that. We all finally get to sleep, but I couldnt, and apparently so cant Niccolo so we spent about an hour just talking and planning for the day while everyone else is STILL sleeping, mind you this was around 8am, so I guess it's just normal that they werent.
Right now, everyone is back to their video games, xbox and brawl and all that. clive's still sleeping, and so is ion. and I'm just writing this. : ]
I didnt want this blog to turn out like this, just.. summarizng the day.. but it's ok. more indepth thoughts are meant for more indepth, reflective days. and today, is a day to have fun
